  9. ^4 One of our `jobs' as 'SPARX' is the putting together of the disks on
  10. ^4the  AMOS  P.D.   Library.   Over the last few months we have noticed
  11. ^4that there are names that pop up quite regularly as contributors.
  12.  
  13. ^1 Although  none of them have quite made Licenseware yet, if they keep
  14. ^1on  trying,  the  next  thing they write could be the one to make the
  15. ^1grade.
  16.  
  17. ^4 We  hope  that  by  mentioning  them  on  SPOTLIGHT,  they  will  be
  18. ^4encouraged  to  keep  on  writing, and not give up programming.  This
  19. ^4magazine  is  for programmers of all abilities, but with the beginner
  20. ^4or `improver' in mind.

  22. ^1 If  anyone would like to nominate a programmer, from the PD library,
  23. ^1to be featured in this spot, please let us know.

  31. ^7 Luke  Miller  has  been contributing to the Amos PD Library since it
  32. ^7started up.  His main talent is music, and he is very prolific!
  33.  
  34. ^5 The  'tunes'  have increased in quality over the last year, and have
  35. ^5proved  to  be very popular with other Amos programmers who have used
  36. ^5them  in  their programs.  Luke says that this is O.K.  as long as he
  37. ^5gets credited for his work.
  38.  
  39. ^7 Luke  also  writes  games  and  has  three  of these in the library.
  40.  
  41.  ^1[3Dungeon  Delver  [0is  a  maze type game where you, Garf, progress from
  42. ^1level to level trying to find the captured wizard.
  43.  
  44. ^4 [3Pixie  Kingdom  [0is  another 2 disk game where you have to rescue the
  45. ^4pixies by fighting off the badies.
  46.  
  47. ^2[3 Glodrick  [0shares  a  disk with a couple of other games.  In this one
  48. ^2you  play  the  part  of Glodrick.  The star thief has stolen all the
  49. ^2stars and hidden them in a deep cavern, you have to go and find them.
  50. ^2This  is Luke's best game so far, and is a platform, ladders and lift
  51. ^2type  game.   It's not too difficult, although it helps to be able to
  52. ^2gather the stars in a logical order.
  53.  
  54. ^6 Luke's work can be found on the following disks, let's hope that the
  55. ^6APD numbers will be joined by LPD numbers in the future.
